The only scooter model produced by the American company Harley-Davidson is currently up for auction at Mecum in Las Vegas. Visually, it appears to be an ordinary moped, indistinguishable from similar two-wheeled vehicles offered by other brands. Its affiliation with the renowned manufacturer is only indicated by the company logo and a branded inscription.

Harley-Davidson scooter was produced from 1960 to 1965 inclusive.

It was not popular among Americans because it did not have outstanding technical specifications. The single-cylinder 2-stroke engine with a capacity of 165 cc produced only 9 horsepower and accelerated the moped to 75 kilometers per hour. There were many competitors that could easily accelerate similar vehicles up to 90 km/h.

And now, after half a century, the Harley-Davidson scooter has attracted the attention of enthusiasts. In terms of build quality, American-made transport is significantly better than Chinese brands available in the US. The brand name also makes a difference. Therefore, experts predict that the only Harley-Davidson scooter model will interest bikers and will be sold at auction for a substantial sum.
