We have nothing against the Chinese brand. In fact, quite the opposite, we always find advantages in the products of the most technologically advanced manufacturer in the world. But that was before the appearance of Huawei Vision Smart TV on the market. With a price tag of $3,500, we immediately disliked it. And we decided to wait for grand discounts. They happened – now $1,800. But even this price is clearly inflated for such a device.
Huawei Vision Smart TV – poor marketing work
We simply took a Samsung QE65 ($1250) and a Beelink GT-King ($100) and compared their technical specifications. And you won’t believe it – Huawei Vision Smart TV lost outright to these two gadgets. Both in picture quality and performance. Note that the Huawei TV is equipped with as much as 6 GB of RAM. But it’s useless. Because for all applications developed for the Android platform, 4 GB is enough. And don’t interrupt – we are talking about Android used in TV-Box, not on smartphones. The box itself doesn’t consume 2 GB of RAM. Naturally, the question arises – what makes Huawei Vision Smart TV so good?
The manufacturer has serious problems in the global market. And it’s time to attract buyers somehow. But what actually happens – the Chinese brazenly deceive trusting consumers. The price of Huawei Vision Smart TV (we’re talking about 65 inches with a 120 Hz screen) should not exceed $1350. Yes, it’s a powerful platform for viewing high-resolution videos and for very high-performance gaming. But there’s no point in wasting $1800 when you can buy a Samsung + Beelink bundle and save a lot on it.
