It is very good that Xiaomi took up the revival of the gaming phone. After the Nokia N-Gage, fans did not wait for the Nintendo WiiPhone, and the toys migrated to the Sony PSP console, which was limited in functionality. At the dawn of 2018, they waited. On the Chinese market, smartphones with 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM, and 64 or 128 GB NAND drive are available for sale. The lack of microSD slightly embarrassed multimedia fans who prefer to watch video on the phone.

The Android Oreo platform, after recent events related to the Galaxy S8 freeze, has upset future owners. But the manufacturer claims that Xiaomi MIUI takes full control of the smartphone. Therefore there is no need to worry.

12MP + 20 MP built-in cameras and dual LED flash, promise the buyer high-quality pictures. Wireless technologies: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE and support for two SIM cards, complemented by GPS, AGPS and GLONASS positioning systems. The built-in 4000 mAh battery is a nice gift for fans of battles outside the home, but the manufacturer did not mention the battery life of the smartphone. Accordingly, questions arise.

In conclusion

The new Xiaomi gaming smartphone has not yet fallen into the hands of the Ukrainian user, so it’s too early to judge by the enthusiastic reviews of the Chinese. The gaming phone turned out to be productive and convenient. But the cost of a smartphone for end-users outside of China is still unclear. It remains to be hoped that the new product will compete in performance with the iPad tablet, but will be twice as attractive in terms of cost for the buyer – at least Xiaomi Black Shark was “awarded” with a comparison with an Apple product.
