Fans of Porsche cars are disappointed with the behavior of the sports car manufacturer. Internet users are discussing a recent statement from the company’s management, which turned out to be false.
Porsche deceived everyone
In a reputable British magazine Autocar, representatives of the brand shared their vision of car manufacturing, where there was no place for diesel engines. Moreover, the publisher noted that the Macan S Diesel crossover and the Panamera 4S Diesel hatchback will no longer be produced.
However, over time, the British clarified the situation citing representatives of Porsche, stating that the production of diesels was suspended. The brand itself will never leave consumers without popular and economical engines. To clarify once and for all, the publication noted that the statement only concerned models with Volkswagen V6 3.0 TDI engines.
According to experts, the statement caused a resonance in society, where one half of Porsche fans rushed to dealerships to buy disappearing diesel cars, and the other half started writing negative reviews to business owners. Apparently, common sense prevailed. Otherwise, the current situation cannot be explained.
