Elon Musk officially confirmed that an electric ATV, Tesla Cyberquad, will go into production. The two-seater will be sold separately or as a set with the Tesla Cybertruck pickup. The design of the ATV closely matches that of the vehicle, with even integration for power supply.
Tesla Cyberquad ATV for Cybertruck Pickup
Work on the ATV has been ongoing for some time. The company faces a challenge regarding the vehicle’s stability during turns. The narrow wheelbase has several disadvantages. Expanding it is not an option, as the bed of the Cybertruck pickup is not flexible. Of course, a standalone ATV could be released, but then the connection to the pickup would be lost, which was the original plan.
The focus has been placed on the suspension. Current technologies allow modifications to the ATV’s chassis to improve stability at higher speeds and during turns. The launch date for production is approaching.
The integration of the Cyberquad ATV with the Tesla Cybertruck looks appealing. Manufacturers have decided to place a charger for the ATV in the vehicle’s trunk, which is very convenient for owners of both vehicles.
It will be interesting to see what Elon Musk comes up with next. Perhaps he will add a Cyber-style drone for reconnaissance or a foldable single-seat helicopter. Elon Musk’s imagination is very well developed, as is his ability to implement plans. Let’s hope this guy continues to surprise the world.
