The owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, presented his new creation to the world. The futuristic Tesla Pick-Up truck. The public’s excitement was sparked by the strange design of the vehicle. Or rather, its complete absence. Essentially, viewers saw a square prototype that vaguely resembled an early 20th-century armored vehicle.
The news shocked many Tesla fans. After all, potential buyers expected perfection, but received a coffin on wheels. That is how a well-known tabloid magazine described the novelty. The news spread across social networks and internet resources. For a moment, it seemed that the project was shelved at the initial stage, but that was not the case.
Tesla Pick-Up: Futuristic Square Cybertruck
The vehicle attracted attention – Tesla’s headquarters began receiving calls from around the world. Everyone’s desire is the same – the price, how to place a pre-order, and when the vehicle can be delivered. Moreover, interested parties included quite successful companies that immediately saw the benefits of using such transport.
There is nothing surprising here. The “Pepelats” in the form of a fighter jet is made of durable stainless steel, which serves as armor for passengers. It is impossible to damage the car – you can hammer on the body with a sledgehammer for hours and not get a single dent. To confirm his words, Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, grabbed a sledgehammer at the presentation and started hitting the car with all his might.
And that’s not all. The pickup (Tesla Cybertruck) can carry cargo weighing up to 2 tons. But do not compare the pickup to a truck. The new Tesla can outperform Porsche 911, accelerating to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Not to mention its maximum towing capacity. There is already a shameful video circulating online for Ford, where the Tesla pickup wins in a tug-of-war against the F-150.
The only drawback that urgently needs improvement is the car’s glass. Unfortunately, they are not armored and can be easily damaged upon impact. At the Los Angeles exhibition, Holzhausen threw a metal ball at the car’s window. The glass shattered. The dissatisfied audience sighed with relief. But it seems this was only temporary. Potential buyers are confident that by the day of sale, the Cybertruck Tesla Pick-Up will have armored glass. And everyone will be happy.
