Even children in Ukraine know what the abbreviation BMW stands for. Therefore, it is no surprise that the news about the appearance of the 2018 sports sedan M5 gained popularity within minutes.
The Fastest BMW Has Arrived in Ukraine
The new model appeared in the company Gruppirovka Tuning, known to Ukrainian car enthusiasts for elite tuning of expensive sports cars. The color of the car is unclear. Judging by its appearance, the BMW M5 is covered with a matte film. However, experts claim that the paint is factory-made.
Throughout automotive history, Germans can boast that the fastest BMW rolled off the factory conveyor. The “M” model features all-wheel drive, enhancing maneuverability on the road. For classic enthusiasts, the manufacturer equipped the car with a switch that locks the front-wheel drive and allows drifting tricks for road enthusiasts.
The engine was not complicated; a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 with 600 horsepower was installed. The BMW M5 accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 11 seconds. As for the speed limit, it is set at 305 kilometers per hour, but the owner has access to a function that limits the maximum speed to 250 km/h.
The automatic 8-speed transmission, carbon inserts in the body that make the sedan lighter, and an improved suspension will appeal to the future owner. The eight-hour drift with fuel pouring on the go, demonstrated at the exhibition during the presentation of the novelty, will surely convince BMW fans that the “M” is the best purchase of 2018. It remains to find out the price of the car in Ukraine including customs duties – in Europe, the BMW M5 sedan starts at 118,000 euros.
