The UD-301-X is based on a dual mono circuit using MUSES8920 J-FET op-amps. And a pair of BurrBrown PCM32 1795-bit digital-to-analog converters. This approach avoids interference between channels. Plus, it provides rich low frequencies with fast transients.
Thanks to the use of the CCLC (Coupling Capacitor Less Circuit) circuit, there are no coupling capacitors that degrade the sound, which give low-frequency attenuation and phase mismatch due to filtering. To maximize the potential of the headphone output allows limiting the power supply to the line outputs.
The Teac UD-301-X is equipped with an energy efficient toroidal power transformer to provide stable current to every part of the circuit. Variable balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) outputs allow you to connect directly to a power amplifier or active speakers, if necessary.
The asynchronous USB data transfer mode is ensured by precise internal clocking of the device to correctly control the timing of sending and receiving data packets.
