Volkswagen ID Crozz: Electric SUV

The electric SUV Volkswagen ID Crozz, announced in 2017, has been caught on amateur camera lenses. Testing of the vehicle on European roads is in full swing. Visually, the SUV is disguised as a prototype, but the body contours easily reveal the expected modification of the Volkswagen group. According to the manufacturer, two versions of the vehicle are expected from the assembly line: a coupe and a traditional SUV.

The launch of production lines for the SUV is scheduled in Europe, the USA, and China. Therefore, it can be confidently said that the new model will appear simultaneously on all continents. Sales are planned for early 2020. By that time, three factories are expected to assemble 100,000 vehicles.

The Volkswagen corporation is focused on producing electric vehicles but officially does not abandon the use of traditional gasoline engines. There is a reason for this, as off-road vehicles with electric motors look rather disappointing. Among the SUVs, the new model is comparable to the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Total – 302 hp. The range of the new model will be around 311 miles. Volkswagen has already announced that they intend to limit the maximum speed of the ID Crozz SUV to 112 miles per hour.
