And to call it convenient, equipping it with Windows 10 OS. The operating system is ‘charged’ for a personal computer, not a tablet. Upon hearing the news that ASUS transformer (laptop + tablet) is coming, my heart beat faster.
Tablet-laptop with Chrome OS for $500
Considering that the Taiwanese brand does not produce low-quality products, it can be confidently said that the novelty will find its fans. And there is no need to look for detailed technical specifications. Even by basic parameters, it is clear that the Asus Chromebook Flip CM300 transformer will surpass Lenovo products:
- Diagonal 10.5 inches.
- Resolution 1920×1200 pixels per inch.
- MediaTek 8183 chip.
- Processor 4x Cortex-A73 and 4x Cortex-A53 (up to 2 GHz).
- RAM/ROM – 4/64 GB.
Asus Chromebook Flip CM300 – what to expect
Some may find these specifications insufficient. But do not forget about the Chrome OS operating system. For effective work with applications (and even games), the platform is enough with 512 MB of RAM and 3-4 GB of ROM. That is, the Asus Chromebook Flip CM300 looks roughly like an Android 10 phone with 16 GB of RAM and 3-4 TB of ROM.
In terms of functionality, the gadget will have a keyboard with a magnetic lock, a stylus holder, and a stand. As for interfaces – it will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack. But knowing the ASUS brand, the company has left out something very important and interesting. After all, it is a cool brand that implements its own innovations, not steals others.
