Battle for the Earth: a new approach to the viewer

The trailer for the film “Battle for Earth” made a noise. It turned out to be the only pleasant moment for the viewer from the American director Rupert Wyatt. The premiere of a fantastic thriller in all corners of the Earth showed that people are not ready for such films.

It would seem that the invasion of aliens and the capture of the planet is an excellent story for fans of science fiction. But something went wrong. Namely, the complete absence of cool special effects nullified the entire plot of the film. This is not surprising - the constant twilight on the screen and the flickering of white teeth with whites of the eyes. Really the director spent all this 25 million dollars of the budget.

Partisan detachments are a separate story. The director did not begin to tell the viewer about the formation of movements to counter the alien race. He just showed separately running characters, and let the viewer think of himself - who it is and what their role is.

The aliens in the movie “Battle for the Earth” are kind of funny. Really it was impossible to hire an artist and come up with something of their own. Some stupid cliches that just annoy. Given that almost the entire plot of the film takes place in pitch darkness.

Promotion of tolerance, drainage of land resources - as many viewers note in their reviews, the hint goes clearly to politics. Moreover, for Russian-speaking citizens, aliens appeared in the image of the United States. In general, it turned out not an action, as the audience expected, but a strange and predictable trash.
