IPTV and torrents: installing codecs
From the developer's site you need to download "K-Lite Codec Pack (Mega)." Just drive this name into the search and follow the first link. Find the “Mega” section in the list, and download the file from any mirror. Perhaps Windows 10 will swear at the launch of the executable file (* .exe). To perform a forced installation, you need to select "more" and agree to a forced installation.
When installing the K-Lite codec, Normal mode is selected. In the windows that appear, you need:
- Installation Preferences window: install MPC-HC for Preferred audio player;
- The Setting for MPC-HC and DirectShow window: select Lan Video DXVA2 and check the boxes for: H.264, HEVC, HEVC10, VP9;
- Audio Configuration window: select the audio format, and enable (Enabled) the audio decoder (if a TV or receiver is connected to the PC). The type of connection is selected and all the checkmarks in the Bitstreaming section are put down.
- At the end of the installation, if the application prompts you to install DirectX files, you need to check the box and continue the installation.
Microsoft account registration
By default, the Microsoft Store is already installed on Windows 10. But there are versions of the operating system that, when installed, do not have a store in their set. It is disabled due to uselessness in order to save Windows resources. If the Store is not in the search window (Start menu), it needs to be restored. To do this, you will have to download the application (Microsoft.WindowsStore) from the Internet. Or try to restore the store through the Restore Windows 10 service menu.
Registration is simple. No need to create a Microsoft account. Just enter your work mailbox (you can even gmail) in the “account” field, fill in “first name” and “last name”. Enter the desired password. Wait for the authorization code on the specified box. Enter in the form field. And that’s all.
Software installation
- FS Client. Installed through the Microsoft Store. In the search, the name is driven in and the installation is performed on the computer.
- Netflix Again, in the search for the Microsoft Store, we find the application and install it. To watch movies in 4K from the Netflix resource, you need to register on the resource and pay. If the use is not planned, you can not install the program.
- Kodi. Installation is required, from the same store.
- Nemiroff Plugin - Download link for the Technozon resource video. Just download to a separate folder.
- The Elementum plugin is also a link under the video. And also easy to download.
Additional registration on Internet resources
- LostFilm.TV. Free registration is performed in 3 steps. The resulting account must be registered in Kodi.
Advanced Kodi Settings
The installed application requires fine-tuning. Therefore, Kodi starts up and the following actions are performed:

- Turn on Allow remote ... .. on other systems. Kodi will request access permission from the Windows system. Everything needs to be allowed for public networks. After which Kodi will complete the work. You need to restart it.

Next comes the fine-tuning Kodi. Display menu - adjusts the resolution output to a monitor or TV. It is necessary to precisely set the parameter corresponding to the one displayed on the screen. In the Audio menu, enable Passthrough and enable AC3 formats with DTS.
Go back to the Kodi main menu and select Interface. You need to install the Russian language for the convenience of using the application. Menu Regional - Languages - Russian.
Back to the main menu. The tab "Player". You need to enable AutoFrameRate. The “Video” tab, the “playback” menu, the item “adjust the display frequency according to the video”. It’s better to choose Always.
Main menu. Section "Additions":
- Add-ons repository. Item "VideoPlayer InputStream". InputStream Adaptive. Install. Settings. Min. Bandwidth - 10000 Max. Bandwidth - 60.
- Video add-ons. To see the list, you need to click "enter the add-ons browser." You tube Install. Nothing to choose. When pressed, everything will be fully installed. You need to go to YouTube in the settings and go through the parameters. Video quality minimum 720p. Activate MPEG-dash and set the quality of the 4K video in it. If the display supports HDR, turn it on. Authorize your YouTube account.
- Additions. Install from the repository - PVR clients - PVR IPTV Simple Client. Install.
- Go to add-ons in the PVR IPTV client. Settings Links menu - links to IPTV are registered. Playlists can be taken from the Internet. For example, tv (registration is required - the code arrives for a long time).
- Additions. Install from zip file. Immediately it is better to go into the settings and allow the launch from unknown sources. Here you need to install the Nemiroff plugins and the Elementum. If the plugins ask permission or install any modules, it is better to agree. In the settings of the installed plugins, you need to go through the "Trackers" menu and connect the videos you need to watch. It is up to the user to decide. The emphasis is better on Russian-language resources. For all trackers where there is authorization, you will have to enter credentials. If they are not, go to the resource for registration.
- Fans of LostFilm will have to go into add-ons - services. And install TorrServer.
