JBL Charge 4 - loud speaker with Power Bank
The first thought about buying a wireless speaker came at the beginning of the summer. I always wanted to embellish my frequent cycling trips out of town. One and the same company, talking about hobbies and work, demanded to add sound design. The second thought was more effective. Cooking delicious and beautiful food in the kitchen, and even with music - the JBL Charge 4 wireless speaker is just perfect for this purpose. Before that, the BoomBox Sony was used, which in an instant, when turned on, simply burned out (cannot be repaired).
Why is it better to buy JBL Charge 4
Selection criteria were few, but the price of a portable speaker was a high priority. If we combine all the criteria and take into account the cost, then JBL Charge 4 is the golden mean between all the criteria:
- Power and autonomy. These two parameters should be inseparable when it comes to mobility. It's better not to look at the numbers - each model has its own battery life indicator (8-20 hours). Considering that far from civilization the maximum daylight hours will go to rest, it makes no sense to watch acoustics with a duration of more than 10 hours. It is better that the speakers are more powerful and still produce high-quality frequencies at high volumes.
- Convenience and functionality. You always want a gadget that will support all known technologies. Just not the fact that the owner of the column will use them. Initially, it was planned to buy a portable speaker JBL Link Music, as it supports DLNA and voice control. But by chance, when visiting the store, the seller turned on Link, Charge 4 and Xtreme. The DLNA speaker was immediately blacklisted for sound quality. Medals, certificates and flowers can be gifted to Xtreme. And I had to buy Charge 4, since it is affordable, loud and plays great.

General impressions of the JBL Charge 4
You can't put your hand on your heart and honestly say that the JBL Charge 4 portable speaker is the best solution. The gadget has disadvantages. For example, this cannot be done, but still, the sound quality does not reach Hi-Fi. Compared to home theater. But cinema 5.1 cannot be taken to nature and cannot be transferred to the kitchen from another room. Definitely, JBL Charge 4 sounds better than any smartphone speaker. In terms of quality, the JBL portable speaker plays better than all representatives of Chinese brands (H08, Economic, Fanco, Nubwo, NudeAudio, Nomi and similar wonders of technology).
If you want portability and high-quality sound, it's better to buy the JBL Xtreme - the two-band system plays better. This is both quality and volume. But the price - almost 2 times more expensive, stops. In general, a portable speaker is a toy for adults that you need to turn on and listen to before buying.
