The player’s struggle for his own life in the virtual world depends not only on the behavior and reaction of the surrounding world. Weather and air temperature can worsen things or even kill a player. For example, jogging in cold weather in the pouring rain will turn out for the player a cold, which will have to be fought, warming around the fire or taking medications.
The mechanism of wetting clothes is temptingly implemented. Entering into a puddle in water-repellent boots is allowed, but it is not recommended to enter the waist. Since the pants will get wet, and the shoes will be filled with water, fettering the player’s movements and weighting his own weight.
Jumping into the pond with a run, you will not be able to get out dry. A jump into a lake or a deep-sea river with a full backpack guarantees the soldier instant death, since the player will simply drown. The developers took care of the mechanism of drying underwear, which will have to be heated around the campfire or aired. Wearing dry clothes on a wet body and maintaining health will not succeed in the SCUM world.
