The creators of the "Game of Thrones" are preparing a series about Pripyat

The HBO channel, known to the Ukrainian audience for the TV series Game of Thrones, decided to shoot the Chernobyl mini-series. The studio decided to lighten the serial tape to the accident at the nuclear power plant in Pripyat. The plot is still under lock and key, but there is already information that the channel is looking for people who took part in the liquidation of the accident.

The Chernobyl theme remained in the shadow for a long time, until the SineLab Production studio launched the series “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone". The first season intrigued the viewer, and the second season of the series with events unfolding in the vastness of America, attracted the attention of other filmmakers.

The roles in the new series about the Chernobyl disaster will be performed by the famous Hollywood actors. It is known that the role of Boris Shcherbina (chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR) was given to Stellan Skarsgard. From the last roles, the actor appeared in the film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" in the role of Bill Turner Swag. Actress Emily Watson is trying on the role of the Soviet nuclear chemist Ulyana Khomyuk. And the role of another chemist Valery Legasov will be given to Jared Harris, who will be remembered for the viewer by the 2011 film of the year “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” in the role of Professor Moriarty.

The release date has not yet been specified, but judging by the reviews of experts on the Internet, the creators of the project decided to submit their own vision of the accident that happened in 1986. It is hoped that the mini-series will be liked by the viewer as well as the Game of Thrones.
