"Shadow behind": a series about a maniac

For fans of action-packed detective stories about maniacs, White Media Studio (Russia) made a gift. The 12 serial film Shadow Behind is based on real events. The viewer was presented the full version of everything that is happening in the case of the "Angarsk" maniac. The criminal acted in the Irkutsk region for a decade.

The film perfectly shows the "coordinated" work of the police and prosecutors. The director drew the attention of the viewer to the fact that most cases are simply not investigated due to negligence of organs. Cases are closed and archived by the hundreds. Moreover, those responsible for observing the law of the individual, instead of working, are engaged in business. Catchy operas are tamed, forcefully beat out testimonies and put the sticks to the investigation as efficiently as possible.

And the worst thing is that the maniac turned out to be a policeman. Who, along with everyone else, was looking for a criminal for all 10 years and was aware of all events. And, if it were not for modern technologies compared to DNA, then the maniac would hardly have been caught. Perhaps the name of the film was due to the personality of the criminal. "Shadow behind the back" - being next to colleagues, like a shadow, the maniac acted confidently and with impunity.

The main role in the series was played by Ivan Hovhannisyan. The actor is known to the viewer on the TV series “The Sniffer”, “Fathers”, “Law and Order”. Also stars such as Alexander Lyapin, Karina Andolenko, Mikhail Tarabukin, Dmitry Podnozov, Denis Sinyavsky, and others lit up. The film is gorgeous - you should definitely watch it.
