This was featured in CNN with a statement from scientists at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, about the formation of a new volcano across three states.
A New Supervolcano Discovered in the USA
Americans are being warned about the emergence of a new volcano, which is still underground in the form of a lava bubble with a diameter of 400 kilometers. Using specialized equipment, scientists managed to determine the magma temperature and study the anomaly from a distance. The bubble is located beneath Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. When the volcano forms, experts guarantee that the mentioned states will turn into ruins.
Only scientists forgot to add that it would take a couple of million years for the supervolcano to erupt. However, Americans do not need to relax. Nearby is the famous Yellowstone, in Wyoming, which has long awakened and is gathering strength to release millions of tons of magma. This summer has been restless for residents within a 300-kilometer zone around the supervolcano – hundreds of earthquakes have forced Americans to pack their bags daily.
