Not always the keyboard and mouse bring joy in games. I would like to have all the necessary buttons at hand (or rather, under my fingers), and invaluable time in the game cannot be wasted searching for the right combinations. The problem in controlling the toy will help the joystick or gamepad. The latter option is more suitable for most applications. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of solutions on the market. One such proposal is the Ipega PG-9099 gamepad. An overview and characteristics of which we offer in this article.
The Technozon channel, at the request of subscribers, made a wonderful video review. And we propose to get acquainted with the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of a Chinese product.

The packaging of the gadget looks elegant only in the pictures. But judging by customer reviews, in 90% of cases, a gadget from China comes in a rumpled box. The integrity of the device does not suffer. But I would like to receive the goods in the proper form.
For a gamepad with such an attractive price, the Ipega PG-9099 looks very attractive. Lightweight and convenient gadget perfectly in the hands. The handles are rubberized and do not cause discomfort. The smartphone holder deserves special attention. Without additional fasteners, as implemented, for example, in GameSir G4S, Phones with diagonals of 5.5-6.2 inches are held securely. All thanks to the clamping spring-loaded mechanism (bracket).
Connecting to the system does not cause problems. The standard combination ("X" + "house"), and the console immediately finds the gamepad via Bluetooth. When connected, the gadget even vibrates (apparently with joy).
At the expense of gaming capabilities, the impression is twofold. In races and rpg games for the Ipega PG-9099 no complaints. But with games that require precise aiming, strange things happen. Frequent misses are a little annoying. Moreover, the problem is relevant for all gamepads of this modification. And it's not about sticking buttons. It's just that the gadget has such an effect, called the "dead zone". When the keys do not respond to angle changes of 10 degrees or less. Gamepad Ipega PG-9099 is better not to use for games in the "tanks" and other "shooters".
