WPKA kickboxing: APU soldier becomes world champion in low kick style

The Ukrainian athlete, Aleksandr Yastrebov, participating in the welterweight - up to 63 kilograms, won first place among opponents and won gold, confirming the title of world kickboxing champion. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which was the first to thank the athlete, congratulating him on the high award.

Александр ЯстребовA soldier from the special forces units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has repeatedly demonstrated to his fans the achievements in the contact sport according to the WTKA low-kick style, but the victory at the World Championships held in the Italian town of Marina di Carrara demonstrated the athlete’s excellent preparation. Recall that Ukrainian athletes are heard by foreign colleagues. Alexander Usik, Vladimir Klitschko, Victor Postol, and many other, not unknown athletes, are still on the list of current world champions.

In the near future, another Ukrainian professional, Vyacheslav Shabransky, will try to recapture gold from a Russian boxer, Sergey Kovalev. The World Boxing Organization (UBO) Light Heavyweight Championship is expected on 25 this November at the Madison Square Garden Small Arena, located in New York. Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, and Roy Jones performed in a boxing ring popular in the United States for professional fights.
