An interesting trend is happening with ACER laptops. It would seem that a cool brand and far from budget models (processors of the Core i5 and i7 series). But, when buying a laptop, at the first start, the mouse cursor starts to move spontaneously across the screen.

Sadness is being caught up by various bloggers who claim that the ACER laptop has a virus in its drivers. According to the "couch experts", it is urgent to remove all built-in applications and drivers from ACER. But it doesn't help. Even replacing the operating system (clean) does not fix the problem.

Too sensitive touchpad is to blame. Which lives its own life and induces all this "mouse lawlessness" on the screen. Neither changing the drivers for the touchpad, nor installing third-party programs, fix the problem.

 

And, interestingly, service centers do not accept an ACER laptop for “treatment” (repair). Since, the first 5-10 minutes of work, after turning on the laptop, the malfunction does not show. Yes, such a surprise for the laptop owner - he came to the service, and the cursor works properly. And, only after 5-15 minutes, the mouse cursor begins its virtuoso movements on the screen, completely ignoring the user's actions.

 

There is only one solution here - go to the touchpad settings and disable it. By the way, reducing the sensitivity of the touchpad does not solve the problem. Just a complete shutdown. And the mouse cursor will have to be controlled by an external manipulator.

It is unfortunate that the manufacturer ACER has not released a patch to solve this problem. Moreover, on the official website of the company there is not a word about such a problem. Yes, and sellers in stores are silent about this. But, on thematic forums, this problem is hotly discussed.
