When a well-known manufacturer, positioned in the production of smartphones, produces everything, questions arise. The brand is clearly trying to stay afloat. Only again and again aims at the expensive price segment.

The Nokia Purebook S14 is clearly not worth the price. It will easily be overshadowed by such "old people" as ASUS Vivobook S14 or HP 14s. Yes, Nokia has the benefits of an Iris Xe graphics card and Windows 11 out of the box. But this is the budget segment. It doesn't need gaming qualities or a super modern operating system. And there is no point in overpaying $ 100 for all this "happiness".
In addition, what we know about the fulfillment of the warranty obligations by the Nokia brand. That the owners of smartphones bang their foreheads against the doors of stores and cannot receive the appropriate service. And take the same MSI, Asus, HP, DELL - the companies have several service centers, even in the suburbs.
Until the Nokia brand masters the budget segment, and does not show its best side there, it makes no sense to jump over the $ 500 bar. 21st century shoppers are used to paying for a service + service package. And Nokia is new here, with a lottery ticket, possibly from a bad lot.
