The series "Playing Squid" - a hype for the sake of financial gain

The South Korean survival series Squid Game, released on Netflix, was an unexpected hit. It is only after watching the film that a strange feeling of deception is created. After all, the author promised the viewer something brighter than the classic "Battle Royale". And the plot simply falls short of even 50% of the stated promises.

Yes, the plot of the Squid Game is very interesting and instructive. Without going into details, you can extract useful information for yourself. Perhaps the author originally put this free lesson for the viewer into the series. Only the director got too carried away with superiority over the movie "Battle Royale". And he did not do it very well. But what about the ratings - the reader will say. The answer is simple - there are simply no analogues to the series. The viewer looks at what is available. And only this factor winds up the rating of an unsuccessful series.

The Squid Game isn't the kind of series you want to add to your collection by putting it next to the Battle Royale Blu-ray. This is a low-grade format that there is no desire to revise in a couple of years. All this idle chatter and rough acting is not worth it.
