Dinosaur bones will be sold at auction in the USA

At an auction in the United States, dinosaur remains are offered to buyers.

For the acquisition of the bones of ancient monsters, the future owners will have to lay out about two to three hundred thousand dollars.

Triceratops-minThe largest American Heritage auction, known worldwide for its themes of art and archeology, invites you to participate in a grand sale of parts of a dinosaur skeleton. Future owners are invited to bid online or install the special Heritage Life app on their smartphone so as not to miss the start of the auction.

The Triceratops skull is one of the valuable lots presented by sellers. The bone was found in 2014 in Montana, in the courtyard of a private house. As it turned out, the complete skeleton of this dinosaur has not yet been found, and archaeologists do not stop searching, finding new triceratops elements from year to year. It is difficult to determine the age of the found cranial bone of a prehistoric fossil, however, scientists suggest that the skeleton of a dinosaur is at least sixty million years old.

pelikozavr-minThe history of the animal can be established on the skull - the dinosaur could get chipped on the skull in the struggle for survival with its tribesmen or tyrannosaurus. Bidding at the auction started from the 150 000 mark of US dollars, but experts do not exclude that the revenue will be 250-300 thousand dollars. Considering the fact that Triceratops is not inferior in popularity to a tyrannosaurus and is known worldwide to adults and children thanks to the cinema and animation, the dinosaur skull has every chance to attract buyers to the lot and make trading more interesting.

The second lot is the remains of a pelicosaurus, whose skeleton was found by archaeologists near Texas. The remains are more reminiscent of a typical representative of the reptile family than a dinosaur. Herbivorous pelicosaurs lived near large water basins around the globe and their remains are found in sandy sediments of many countries of the world. Those who wish to acquire the remains of an ancient monster will have to pay thousands of American dollars at the 150-250 auction.

mamont-minMammoth tusks found in Alaska are equally valuable to buyers. Finding a couple of whole tusks is a rarity for archaeologists and scientists, so the auction promises to be interesting. There is no doubt that the tusks presented in the lot belonged to one mammoth - the fangs are identical in size and weight, and also have the same curvature. Like skeletons of dinosaurs, tusks of a prehistoric animal will start at auction from the mark of 150 thousand dollars. Anything can be expected from the famous Heritage House, so experts predict that bidding on the remains of prehistoric animals can easily overcome the one million dollar mark.
