It looks like the Chinese brand Xiaomi has decided to repeat the "success" of the Korean company Samsung in terms of releasing updated versions of smartphones with poor configuration. At least after the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro model, this impression was made. Instead of improving the phone and adding something useful to it, the Chinese took a step back.

You don't even need to put much effort into studying the technical characteristics. The Note 8 Pro has a very powerful MediaTek Helio G90T processor. And in the 9th version, it is logical to assume, there should be a more productive crystal. But the Chinese were greedy and installed the ancient Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. Hence the drop in system performance. In the AnTuTu application, this is not particularly noticeable. But once you take both smartphones in hand, the difference is obvious.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro: reviews
Dissatisfaction about the new version of the smartphone can be found in any online store. It is noteworthy that sellers remove negative reviews, which further cause resentment. Considering the difference in price, it is better to buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro while it is still on sale. But the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro can be immediately blacklisted. This phone will fail. And we won't be surprised if by the end of the year it gets into the ranking of the worst smartphones.
We really like the Xiaomi brand itself. Please note that we often post reviews of a very successful and interesting technique... The company's products are excellent quality and has a minimum price. But, this incident with the Note 9 Pro smartphone greatly disappointed us. The manufacturer decided to deceive its customers, who have trusted the brand for years. Either Xiaomi will correct itself, or will repeat the fate of Lenovo corporation - it will move into the category of outsiders.
