Ministry of Sports denies debts to chess player Maria Muzychuk

The world community was worried about the news of Ukrainian chess players. Last week, the trainer of the famous Ukrainian grandmaster, Maria Muzychuk, made an official statement about the existence of debt from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Information leaked to the media after information appeared that the Ukrainian athlete was not present at the European Chess Championship.

Recall that in the 2016 year, at the World Chess Championship, held in Lviv, Mary Muzychuk failed to defend her own world champion title.
However, the press service of the Ministry said that the statement of Natalia Muzychuk is false. According to Deputy Minister Yaroslav Voitovich, all expenses planned for chess players for the 2015-2017 period were paid in full, according to the budget.
One can only guess for what purpose the coach of the chess player made false accusations against the Ministry of Youth and Sports. And the public is concerned with another question - what was the real reason for skipping the European Championship, where the grandmaster from Stry, Maria Muzychuk, was supposed to represent Ukraine.
