MrPiracy is another victim of the TV industry

Another project for the placement of illegal content has left the global Internet. Portuguese portal MrPiracy failed this time. The most interesting thing is that the site was considered one of the best in the country. And was popular with over 3 million people. This is one third of the population of the entire country.

Considering the statistics of companies Netflix and Disney Plus by the number of new viewers, it's not hard to guess where MrPiracy's problems come from. It is clear that you have to pay for licensed content. But not everyone is willing to pay monthly tribute to the giants of the TV industry.

The MrPiracy project lasted 5 years. The site has always pleased the Portuguese with high-quality and relevant content. But from mid-August 2021, the portal started having problems. As a result, the beginning of October was the final stage for the project.

All accounts have moved to the PobreTV domain. And the owners of the new site added the ability to import settings for MrPiracy users. It's convenient - you don't have to set up anything from scratch. Registration, import, viewing.

It is not known how much PobreTV will delight the people of Portugal. But the hand of the “Big Brother” is already clearly visible, which is eager to crush all video services. The goal is clear - business, nothing personal.
