At this stage, the state does not see that people are incurring huge expenses and are at risk of losing everything. Of course, it is more convenient to put a spoke in the wheel - to ban the mining of cryptocurrencies at the level of the Internet protocol.

But any miner who has decent earnings on mining is a potential investor for the state. He and his family (friends) can open a business, buy a car, housing, things, food. All this is GDP. But no. Officials see this as a danger and want to plunge the miner into debt in order to take everything away from him.

 

The problem affects not only Russian regions. This scheme is relevant in the US and Europe. No one wants people to have extra income during this difficult time with unstable economies around the world.

The law has not yet been adopted, but it will definitely be implemented in the near future. After all, the process itself is very simple. Mining is easy to track by the protocols and ports used. Therefore, providers can do this in a couple of hours, even for several million subscribers.

According to the initiators of the blocking, the problem lies in the high consumption of electricity. But let me. Russia is a supplier of electricity abroad. This is one of the sources of income for the state. And the miners pay for electricity at a favorable rate for the supplier. The more energy they spend, the more income from power plants and suppliers. This is logical.

 

Explanations about the load on the power grid sound especially funny. This is a lie. In any country of the world, this problem is being fought by expanding the capacity of the electrical network. Cables are being changed, additional networks are being introduced. For some reason, no one wants to discuss the problem of nightly discharges of excess electricity into the ground at nuclear power plants. That is, so that the reactor of a nuclear power plant does not bang, electricity can be burned in megawatts into the ground. And to sell it to people 2-3 times more expensive - this is a load on the network.

The problem with mining is different. Nobody wants new rich people to appear in the country who will compete with the oligarchs. For example, in elections or tenders. It is convenient for the powerful of this world to keep people in a “stall”, like animals in a circus who work for food. Yes, you can pay mining taxes. No problem. But the existing law cannot distinguish between private traders and commercial organizations. Whether you earn $10 a day or $1000, pay the same. There is no justice.

 

The future of mining when the protocol is banned over IP

 

Meinig was, is and will be. They will ban it at the provider level, the Chinese will come up with some kind of network converter. Which will be able to decode the protocol into standard TCP / IP for mail or surfing traffic. Yes, there will be additional costs. But not a single miner will refuse to earn money. After all, equipment from 99% of miners was bought on credit. And debts must be paid.

It is simply not clear why all these gestures with the adoption of laws. It will not work to milk the holders of cryptocurrencies. As long as more than 50% of the population is below the poverty line, no one will come out of the shadows. Why. You work officially. Mining Bitcoin. You pay taxes - guests will definitely come:
