Recall that the emergence of a visa-free regime with the EU and the departure of Ukrainians to work in Europe led to a shortage of passports. Since demand creates supply, a black market for the production and sale of documents has appeared in Ukraine.

To improve the deadlines for the manufacture and issuance of passports, the government had to reduce the tax for the printing plant from 75% to 40%. In exchange for an exemption, the manufacturer is obligated to finance a project to expand production and purchase equipment for issuing ID-1 documents with laser and electronic authentication.

It is planned that by the middle of 2018, the residents of Ukraine will have one less problem, because getting a passport for traveling to Europe is a matter of life for most people who want to feed their own family and pay for housing and communal services.
