Subaru Impreza is back, but do we need a hatchback

An updated model of the Japanese concern, the Subaru Impreza 2024, was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This is the 6th generation of the model, which has received a number of interesting improvements. The manufacturer claims that the novelty will go on sale at the beginning of 2023. It will only be available in the US market for now.

The novelty will be available in 3 variations - Base, Sport and RS. The differences will affect only the volume of the engine and power. Otherwise, everything will be identical. It is stated that the base model will receive a 2.0 liter engine with 152 hp. And the RS series is a 2.5 liter engine with 182 hp.

Regardless of the modification, all cars will have a variable gearbox. As with other Subaru models, there will be manual shifters located under the steering wheel. Fans of finer tuning of the car are available with torque vectoring and gear ratio tuning.

 

Body Subaru Impreza 2024 received even more rigidity. And the steering rack with electric power is supplemented by a pair of gears. All this should significantly increase the stability of the car at high speeds, when cornering.

 

Subaru Impreza 2024 – what is the update?

 

Japanese designers have completely redesigned the body design. Or rather, they made it more desirable for the buyer, who keeps up with the times:

 

• Changed the design of the bumpers and grille.
• Improved optics for driving in any weather and under different lighting conditions.
• The control system is supplemented with control sensors that detect pedestrians and cyclists in blind spots.
• Mirrors and a spoiler have been improved - now this is not an element of decor, but an accessory for sports driving.
• Regularly installed 18-inch wheels on alloy wheels.

The interior of the Subaru Impreza 2024 has also been brought to mind. Inside there are carbon inserts, and many elements have leather overlays. Torpedo has become even sportier - more free space without loss of information content:

 

• Vertically mounted 11.6-inch monitor. It works as a multimedia and display for complete vehicle control.
• There are many sensors that help in setting up and controlling the machine.
• Airbags are installed throughout the cabin - guarantee the survival of the driver and passengers.
• The kit already comes with 10 Harman Kardon speakers, which are responsible for high-quality and surround sound inside the cabin.
• The shape of the driver's and front passenger's seats has been improved.

 

Subaru Impreza 2024 price has not yet been announced. It is better for fans to track the novelty at American car dealerships, since the information on the official website has not been updated for a long time.
